Help me with an update on the monster catfish sticky!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
That's some mix of cats you got :) Nice Platysilurus mucosus. The albino looks to be Hemibagrus nemurus (missing half of the dorsal). Who is the beat up guy behind the pipe - is it what you call ARTC? Looks like a Bagridae in the last shot. His dorsal view looks odd to me.

If my IDs are correct, that is interesting. It looks like nemurus is winning over ARTC. If forced to guess, I'd say the opposite. I am sure these are the two that fight, both being Hemibagrus - fiercely territorial fishes.

thank you very much sir not even in the same league as yours though. I deffinately feel blessed to have a collection like this. The guy behind the pipe was sold to me as a pseudopimelodus bufonus common name was "zungaro cat" I wish I could have gotten him to move for some better pictures. I believe the rest of the id's are correct. The albino nemurus is aggressive but kept in check by the big goonch so no problems so far doubt that will be the case as it grows (learned real quick not to mess with it as you can see by the gimpy dorsal fin)

Beautiful collection. Is that a silver carp (aka flying carp) or maybe a bighead carp or a grass carp (aka white amur) in the last pic, above the TSN?
