I knew few people that grew them to 14" in captivity and your telling me that they get smaller in captivity or too rare for a bullhead to not exceed a foot. I worked in fisheries and I can tell you that we caught lot of big bullheads in fish traps and gillnets... all easily exceed 13" and largest one we captured is 20".Show me a 20 incher and I'll be a believer. Or even a confirmed 15 incher, please.

I disagreed on that one. A 75gal isn't suitable for bullheads beside the smaller species of bullhead (snail, spotted and flat bullehads)biggest bullhead I've seen in captivity was 15" and it was caught at that size when added to the tank. but then again i don't really try hard enough to look for big bullheads in aquaria. IMO a bullhead or two would be fine in a 75.
