Ive been running 2x 200watt e series for a few months now, their decent, no probs yet and i like how they have a mirror effect.
I have 2x ac110, 1x fx5, 2x fluval e series heaters and i couldn't be happier with the equipment ive invested in, initially i wanted to buy the best and most reliable and it appears that i have, one of the ac110's i have has been running for almost 8 years on the original impeller, nothing replaced ever on anything and it runs exactly like the new ac110 i bought a few months ago! And imo the fx5 is absolutely flawless, after the hoses are replaced with vinyl or pvc and the MEDIA is setup right its a monster! My absolute favorite piece of aquarium equipment ive ever owned!
Very encouraging to see all these positive reviews on hagen and fx5. People have questions all the time on how to properly set it up and "why do i have micro bubbles," these aren't failures or complaints, its a learning process like any filter! If you run the micro pads and dont change them frequently your going to have micro bubbles.
