My Dovii has been the least picky fish when it comes to eating, besides an Oscar that I have owned. I'm sure you will get him on pellets before to long. I can switch to an brand new pellet with no problem with my guy. Good luck.

Nether do I? Do you let it thaw out to room temp. before you feed him? Don't know if it's frozen, he may not like the cold food. My guy will smash pretty much everything I can think of.

Im sure he will come around. I am soooo happy to have a Dovii again. Heck i might get him a female once i move him into the 320g as i love keeping pairs... But we'll see
