Lucky man, you must have gotten one of the docile ones, my close friend lost about 300 in nice fish (a few tats, a endli bichir, and a few dats) when his Jar got to about 14 inches it decided it wanted nothing to do with having tank mates.

Yes I consider my self lucky, I've had that jardini in the past as well. Kills everything, at the time 15 years ago I had no idea why. Everything is fine and one day everything is dead. It wasn't until I found this site that I was able to put the pieces together. I just added 2 Five spot cichlids both under 5" and they can sit right in front of the jar and nothing, not even a look. Yes I'm lucky at this point, but with a jar we'll see what happens.

Thanks, it's been about an inch a month so far. I've only had it for two months, at this time it's 9" tip to tip. Hey

That's really good growth rate for the ATF. I'm only getting around 1/4" a month.

From 4-8 inches, my goliath was getting about an inch a month. Now he's getting about a half inch if I'm lucky. :/
