White or Black Sand Please show me your tanks!!!!!

It is a large grain sand. I have it in my gar tank. The white is bits of crushed coral that have gotten in for one reason or another. I have it in my sump and it was in the tank before I got the sand.

Thank. It may be too large sharp for GEOS. I got some black sand from Petco that is cheap and will be fine. I had my ray in it without issues.

Used to have pfs switched to black spectraquartz. It's the smaller S grade. Stuff is swesome. Almost perfectly round and smooth as hell. Go black.

Got mine from a pool supply place. Blackumbi found some at a flooring supply place I think. 26 bucks for a fifty pound bag.

The majority of pool filter sand I have seen is to "white" for my tastes and black sand tends to muddy many fish's colors. I use Quikrete sand mixed with natural colored gravel and smaller stones. Makes for a very natural look in my opinion..
