Jumping into this conversation pretty late but who can say anyone is ducking? Unless your name is Jon Jones (which I think might have been a smart decision but he might lose anyway)? Rowsey could have fought those couple pro fights and decided the weight class wasn't right for her even though she was winning. Why is Silva not fighting better competition than "past their prime," "not even legends," who can barely defend themselves, light heavyweights? Even though he's tearing the weight class apart? If the motto is to each their own, then lets stick to that.
Also, the only boring fighter out there is GSP (personal opinion). He's too smart to be a champion prizefighter. He knows the easiest way to leave a legacy is to string wins as the champ, and unfortunately for us (fortunate for him) he's too smart to get caught too often doing the "wrong thing" in a fight. Who's your fav prizefighter? Mines Tyson, exciting, powerful and DUMB as hell. The best combination in my opinion for excitement.

Can you elaborate on Jones ducking?? he didn't duck chael if that's what you are implying.

Rhonda leaving the weight class undefeated and on the verge of a title shot is ducking. again, you guys can ignore the facts and spin it how you want. name one person who starts off in one division, dominates and is in title contention and leaves the division. if there is anyone that did what Rhonda did, I don't know about it. but don't give me the "weight class wasn't right for her" argument. before dropping weight, she had 7 first round armbars including amateurs. what? was the armbars not being done quick enough? was the no-weight-cut too hard on her?? lol, oh I know,.............. there's a big manly beast named cyborg at the top which Rhonda was climbing the ladder really really fast on, that's why she dropped weight. and meisha tate was the better fight for her style. smaller, doesn't punch harder than men and quite frankly, not as scary. I like Rhonda, i'm a fan. but I gotta call a spade a spade man. she leaves the division, calls out the champ from another division. if you are a champ, you want another champ, you go to that champ's division. don't hide in your own weight class knowing she won't make weight and call someone out.

and don't compare Anderson silva to Rhonda, the situations are different. Anderson did not start out his career fighting at 205 like Rhonda started at 145, he started the ufc and 185 and dominated, then wanted to test himself at a heavier weight but his home is 185. how is that the same as what Rhonda did? Rhonda started at 145, (3 amateur fights, 4 pro fights) dominated and left the division. plus, Rhonda is calling out the bigger fighter. Anderson isn't calling anyone out. but if you wanna get into Anderson, that's a whole other conversation we can get into.

the motto "to each their own" was referring to boring fighters, not who was ducking who

It's all circumstantial, so I guess we'll make our own conclusions. Even if she was ducking Cyborg, I can't really blame her at that point in her career with her stand-up not really being to par yet, anyway so it doesn't really bother me. I don't think she's one to duck anyone, though, especially now, but I've been wrong before. And, btw, it's Ronda no Rhonda :)

Nice shot of Rousey? in the SCUBA gear...She looks thick like a milkshake.

Thanks,wasn't sure who it was.

I'm surprised no one is talking about the Sub of the Night. Good to see some creativity from the back instead of the classic RNC.

And how about Kos getting TKO'd?

Hendo vs Machida wasn't half as boring as Schaub vs Johnson.

I had a coworker named Rhonda and spelled it that way. force of habit. anyways, it is all circumstantial but this discussion started because you accused cyborg of ducking. but with the given facts I think she is the one that ducked. and like you, I wouldn't blame her. and I don't even care if she ducked her or not but what rubs me the wrong way with Ronda is that she talks smack and calls her out while fighting at 135. you see what i'm saying? imagine gsp calls out Anderson silva and dares him to come to 170. I'd be like, wtf gsp?? if someone is calling you out from a higher weight class, then you tell them they're welcome to come down and meet you on your turf, that's fine. that's different. but don't call her out and dare her to come down to your weight class. especially when you have fought at her weight class before AND dominated. that's all i'm saying, she should just ignore the cyborg thing and move on and if cyborg wants a crack at you, then you respond. cyborg is even wanting to fight at a catchweight but ronda won't. we still may see cyborg in the ufc. believe me, if ufc plans on keeping the women in the ufc, they will be bringing in invicta girls. i'm just sad that Megumi, the real p4p #1 female fighter is retired
