thanks everyone and yes i will def post pics. Out of all my tanks i seem to be really happy the way this is suppose to look like. It will def be a couple weeks before it is set up and running. Also decoy50, i have heard that about the Serpae Tetras but i will try them...however i am gonna have to flip a coin on those or the Lemon Tetras. I am looking to get about 10 of either tetra. I like the rainbows but i was looking for the small mass of fish and that was the only reason why i didn't go with a few rainbows. I believe most get around 5.5-6 inches and that would limit me. But you may know more than me on that. Im more into the CA and Africans and i have a really nice 55 gallon community but not like this tank is going to be. Everyone's advice has been a huge help and i will be glad to show off this tank when it is finished!!!

Awesome! Glad we could help you out! I can't wait to see the tank in the near future. It's going to look great.

Some pics of my Angelfish with Serpae Tetras. Not a nipped fin in the house if kept in a group. The two angel fish in the picture are a couple of P. Altum grow outs and a young Festavum.

Can't argue with those pics! Quit making Altums look so easy Tom, that's going to force me to make a purchase...

You should definately include a couple of orange rabbit snails. They look great on a dark substate, dont breed like crazy,& are fun to watch.

well after i read everything and everyone gave their thoughts and ideas....well i made my merry way down to ye old LFS. I bought 12 Serpae tetras(being held in a 20 gallon tank) and while i was there. i bought 12 golden pristella tetras. those got put into my 55 gallon community. What do you guys think is a good price for them? i paid i $1.75 each. I always ask price questions to see what other areas cost of certain fish. this way i have an idea when buying i think im getting a deal or not!!! again thanks for all the help.. oh yea almost forgot i have never heard of those snails but i did look up the info on them and asked my LFS and the owner said he has never seen them at the supplier. They do look really neat!! so if you ever get babies and wanna send some down let me know.

Also forgot, Tom nice tank i really like those pics!! What size tank is that? another LFS buy me gets the Altums wild from Peru, they are beautiful fish. I was going to get those but I know you need a tall tank and I knew it wouldn't be fair to put them in this tank!
