What is the best cichlid fish food pellets and flakes?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I use Hikari Gold, NLS Cichlid and Omega One Super Cichild pellets. I have fed Omega One the longest and have had nothing but awesome results.

Oh it's this Fish food brand that's not as good as Dianichi.

NLS is obviously better at making websites, however, since the dianichi one is always broke.

I do feed NLS Thera A to my Africans as I seem to have more parasite issues with them.

For pellets, when comparing the ingredients, Dianichi is garbage compared to Omega One Super Color Cichlid Pellets.

Unfortunately, NLS' list starts with "Typical Ingredients"<--- which sounds like garbage too.

LOL, another brain washed Omega user. Not that I am slamming Omega, but read & learn grasshopper.

It has been well documented over the years that Omega uses processing plant waste for it's main protein sources, and appears to list most/all of it as-is, as in wet weight. Remove the moisture content & try comparing raw ingredients - then tell me what looks more like garbage. :)

You're clearly much smarter on the subject than I am, but by "well documented" you seem to be talking about your own posts that bash Omega in favor of NLS.

To be fair, with your inside info, maybe you could tell us more about the current "typical" ingredients in NLS and whether - or not - they're 100% whole fish and from where they're acquired:
