What's the most aggressive cichlid out there??

Yea they can all snap at any moment. Especially when fry are involved. Some that come to mind are cons, 5 stars, Red Devils, dovii, umbee...all of which will happily flare and headbang their way down a catfish's throat. When they get too aggressive for tankmates they're no fun. What's the point in spending thousands for a setup with one fish? Btw, true Midas are usually not as aggressive as the ones in the lfs with red devil blood in them.

Some of the newer members may get an idea of the agression levels of some of the more popular fish everybody always asks about. I agree it's for fun so have a good time with it, if one member learns somthing they did know before its worth it, so discuess.
 
Hearsay has mentioned Dovii many times, but I think the newer members are stating it this way. Seeing it in person is entirely different. So, I'd say JK47 prior Dovii male is number one! Never seen anything like that just to try to break the tank to greet spectators.
