I'm leaning towards a white tip reef shark and a sting ray. And I am honestly not keeping up with the cost. If I need something I just buy it as I go along , so I really can't say how much I've spent so far to be exact There are cheaper ways to do this but to be honest I didn't decide to do this myself to go cheap ( no I don't have 80k to put in an aquarium either ) I wanted to do this as a project in my spare time to keep me busy and do it the right way. This tank is only temporary. When the shark gets bigger I'm going to build a tank 3xs this size
 
Can't help getting the MFK itch reading this... I think my biggest motivator for buying a damn house is so that I can build a big ass fish tank in it.. until then... subd.. :)

I just finished working for the night. When I wake up I'm going to do a little more and ill be uploading some pics tomorrow sometime. But I am really happy with the way it's coming along
 
I ended up putting another layer of plywood on the bottom and overlapping the seems. I'm going to build the back wall tonight and pick up some hardie backer board today also
