  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
yh definitely. maybe..im not sure..I'll have to see what happens. but 10, 000 litres off filtration is enough right?

Don't get caught up on filtration, you won't need some massive amount. Just sensible efficeint filtration. Filtration can always be added to or modified to fit the needs of the aquarium stock.

no, the canisters are what power a 3000litre tank in my work place. and that tank is spotless

I would not worry so much either over the initial investment of the fish. ie if your stearing away from asians for that reason alone... why? simply put you will invest more in their lifetime in maintence,food,ect... the initial cost of the fish will be obsolete. it's one thing if you can't "afford" to shell out a lump sum atm.. but different because your afraid of the price-tag.. that just means be even more dilligent in getting healthy fish/s to begin with.

Agreed.

What fish would you put with it though?

its not so much the price tag im afraid off. im 15 and working my own job to make the money for this. im hopefully gonna start breeding soon for certain species.
I'm just wondering the fact about whether its worth spending that much if that fish may eat or kill my other fish.
I like getting the main facts before the purchase because I want to make sure the fish im buying will also live a happy life

thats true. I'll stick with that amount of filtration then.

So far I see your combination of stock will not work. Those L25 and L114 do not go will with your stingray. Here is the scenio I see....

syno get eaten by rays, ray get eaten by pleco and flagfish, and eel take over tank.

Id say 3, I think people here are just overly generous and I'm not saying it's not good to want to give a fish more space but 3 could work in there

tbh. the stingray most probably won't happen as I want a ray only tank in the future. the plecs will work together as will the flagfish. ive seen these together before. the two eels are a little experiment of mine to see if they will work together. First sign of trouble the fire eel wil go into my girlfriends tank.
