In my case I wanna switch my chicla from Massivore to NLS. Here's the trick/recipie. Now if you're a girl dog and scared to get your hands stinky than this is not for you. Or if you're a person who is lazy and don't want to put time into your Cichla to get them on a better AND cheaper pellet, again this is not for you.
Ingredients-
Massivore
NLS
Purified water
Supplies-
Blender/coffee grinder
Bowl
Tupperware
Steps-
Take a mixure of 50/50 NLS and Massivore pellets. Throw it into the blender/coffee grinder and grind it into a powder. Pour the pellet powder into a bowl and slowly add water. Mix it and kneed it into a playdoh like texture. Roll it into a big ball. If it's crumbly, add more water, if it's too wet and sticky add more pellet powder. Store it in the Tupperware with a wet papertowl beside it (make sure the ball doesn't touch the wet paper towel) and keep in fridge.
When it's time to feed. Take the ball, pull a small piece off and roll it between your index finger and thumb to form an actual pellet to desired size and feed.
If your Cichla still won't take it. Grind up more Massivore and mix it into the ball, you will probably need to add water. You could add garlic extract if still picky, you can also add vitachem.
Good luck!
