My new Lei

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
He is 10" now. I know this to be correct because I moved him in a 10" net and he filled it up. I tried putting him in the 240, but the Dats just kept pestering him so he went back to the 40B after a day. I have always been a firm believer in giving my fish one day off a week from food. That was yesterday. Today he splashed almost 2" of water out of the tank. I thought I had a leak at first. He was just all jumpy and splashy from hunger. I fed him more food this evening then he has ever had in one sitting. Calmed him right down. He basically did his own mid week water change. It looks like that plan won't work for me anymore. When he get to 2+ feet it could be a problem. He is going into a new 150 in a few days. As of right now he will be the only mid-top water fish in the tank. It will hold all of my polys and the giraffes cat. If I remember I will get a picture when I move him. Plan on seeing missing scales. Today a lot went flying.

Haha his own mid week water change!

You've worked a miracle with this fish. He seems to be doing wonderfully.

I look forward to more pics!

I noticed earlier in the thread you treated for ips.Im assuming thats internal parasites. How did you treat and did it work?

I treated with Prazipro for I think 3 weeks. Sure it worked. That's why he started eating again- and growing. LOL.

Oh. just thought of another ? Did you administer it in bath form or can you get them to eat it. I ask because I have a jardini. his abdomen seems concave just behind his stomache. Like maybe his lower intestines. He eats great and seems very happy and healthy otherwise so he is probably fine. I just wonder if maybe he has ips due to the flatness of that area. After he eats it really is noticeable. hes got this big o belly and its sunk in right behind that. What do you think?

Prazi pro goes directly into the tank water in the appropriate dose.
