Wow man nice sumps!

Shelby very creative sump! That DIY sock holder is amazing. Factory filters for the weak..

Gangster those pothos are weird haha You should do as isde said, just put them in a bucket. Nice biologic media btw.

Burbon you would easily win in beutiful sump contest.. Are you using CO2 and fertilizers in it?

I am using co2. Just a little. I figure a little is better than none. Fertilizer once a week.

Nice sump shelb.....its not ghetto its diy ;), and G have your ever thought about putting the pothos in a 3-5gal bucket filled with hydroponic media with a drain hole on the bottom to drain back to the tank?

No I want my tank a little classier than that.
Im gonna get a used acrylic tank and use it as an over head sump for my pothos plants.
It will have a pump in the main tank pumping into it and then just gravity fed back into the main tank.

Thanks Fernando! Valeu brother!

Wheat, nice and clean sump. Im just wondering here if this bomb dont make so much noise? And the electricity? How many watts, and how much flow?

I think the question was to me? My tank is about 380-400 gallons including the sump and the entire tank is running off about 220 watts. Also its pretty dang quiet.. I change those monster filter socks once a month and other than that I just enjoy the fishes. Very minimal maintenance

Yeah that was for you.. I was curious because it seems like a common bomb. Not like an aquarium bomb.

I paid like 250 bucks for my aquarium bomb, and with that money I would have bought a common bomb what would do better for 100 bucks.
Idk, next try I will try it.

What about putting the pothos into a floating basket from Home Depot and then into your sump? Then you can put a light on a timer near the sump so the pothos has enough light. With a filter sock setup like yours with the top of the sump open, you could easily do that.

When you say bomb are you talking about the pump? My pump is an evo 3500 uses 131w. Pretty dang quiet also
