My fish --Short Body Texas'....

Well I decided its time to make a thread, I recently got back into the hobby. A few months ago out of a large selection I chose six of the shortest, roundest baby SB Texas' , and started growing them out. I have two males, 4 females and although I want to improve on them, I am happy especially with this one male and the one female pictured alone, they should mature even better!

. Tomorrow the second male (not pictured) will be re homed. The other male is pictured, as well as a couple photos of the females. I have a female regular bodied Super red texas coming from thailand, a male SB Super Red Texas, and two new Short body babies (regular coloured), which I will send pics when they arrive and are all settled.

The male I am keeping is in his own breeder tank now, and I plan on trying him with the female Red Texas thats coming in. The SB Male Red texas will be in a tank with the Four SB females, they will likely pair up and try to breed, but its 99% chance he will be infertile anyway, which is fine he's really more of a show fish. Enjoy!

Another pick up. Super Platinum pearl Texas...Believed female. Doesnt matter either way, I want these Genetics for my SB's.

Other fish should arrive in a couple days, and this guy will be another few weeks. Got everything I wanted for my breeding project

Here is a preview of the two baby SB"s I also imported...VERY happy with them. Exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a "big pearl" SB as well as a "tiny Pearl all over and worm pearl" and thats whats I got ! Will post pics of the two SRT's when they settle

I see the second fish is from Chonburiman. Please stay away from him. From someone who has done a ton of business with many breeders in Thailand, stay away!! The red in the second pic is so saturated it's not even funny. That fish will never be that red I'm sorry to say. He has been well known to use a ton of red lighting on his fish with many disgruntled customers. I've have also seen where he has not sent the same fish. I'm not trying to put your fish down in any way, but I am speaking the truth about a fraudulent seller.

Thanks for the info! You were correct, She isn't that red...She is still very nice but not like that.

Give it a few days if you just got them. Fish will fade from shipping sometimes. Good luck
