I got so tired of fish fighting and fish bullying that I ditched all my tropical's and went with fancy Goldfish and i've never been happier.

I agree with the OP. Fish tank to me is supposed to be relaxing. However I finally have a tank with some "aggressive" cichlids that is balanced. There is a bit of chasing every once in a while but nothing major and nothing causes damage. I did re home the Jag and the wild caught oscar for some less aggressive. I have Severum, Green Terror and Firemouths and they are all doing well together. If this winds up not working then I will go back to community.
I have great fondness for both community tanks and larger cichlids, I switched to larger fish barbecue I introduced one bunch of tetras that brought ICH with them and it wiped out my whole schoal of teteras and barbs cause they couldn't tolerate the meds. Talk about stress all that time building up a tank, gone.
Oh yeah I also love gold fish I have to fancy gold fish in my kids room.

HAHAHA stupid auto correct. That is supposed to say "Larger fish because" not "Larger Fish Barbecue". Although fish barbecue sounds good.
