What's their punishment? Clearly they didn't give a sh*t over what happened to their pet or that poor kid. Maybe that judge should make the owners pay for all that kid's surgery, the dog's defanging and neutering and while she is at it - make sure that the owner can never be an owner again. The owner of that pit should be deemed a poor caretaker and banned from ever owning another dog...ever.

I Think the dog needs to be put down...but...I agree 100% with the last part of your post THE OWNER is at fault &should never be allowed to own dogs until they can figure out how to do it correctly(and prove it)

About the order to "defang" the dog,
an explanation on the Save Mickey page stated:

"This does not mean Mickey will have his fangs pulled. Rather, it means they must be ground down. Mickey will not be losing any teeth............"

Lol, this dog is no less dangerous but at least the next owner will be aware of his history and temperment

Wow I thought I saw it all people have lost their minds I live in a household where birddogs are trained if a dog turns on its handler its corrected but a child thats a big no no end of story by by poochie I mean really this makes no sense to me a facebook page for this

I might be the only dog lover on the planet that thinks violent dogs should be put down ...more room for "happy"dogs:)
