Gulper Catfish tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Mine's really active tho. Always swimming around even when the lights are on. But that's maybe bacause mine's still young. Perhaps as they mature, they get lazier and lazier. But i think a standard 50 is good enough for a single gulper. Im not planning on adding another one in there. For 2 above, maybe a 75 or a 120 gallon would do.

On a side note however.....i have a contact here in the philippines, who just got another shipment of little gulpers and can sell them to me cheaper. Veeerrrryyyy tempting to start a gulper community :D problem is i dont have space left for another big tank haha
You'll find space :D!

I hear ya... I could go nuts in the basement but feel like we never go down there so qhat qould the point be

Hehe yeah now im thinking of relocating my marvel villains action figure display cabinet and putting another 75 in its place. Water bills gonna kill me though haha

More like electric for me, I got both my tanks on the corner of back walls and one is next to my sliding glass door so yeah it gets pretty damn cold in the winter and pretty hot in the summer :).

Ha that's the point, if you put a good reason to go down there tada. I have a finished basement but I wish I had one of those huge wide open no walled basements. I used to think those were creepy but way more floor plan then my bar/entertainment room/ washroom/ 2 bedroom finished basement.

Well i guess i can put another 100 below my bichir tank. But im not really one for tanks below eye level. Too much hassle to clean and i cant appreciate the view that much.

Its always hot here in the philippines! Haha i seldom see hobbyists use heaters here. Unless their tanks are in airconditioned rooms. How big are your tanks?
