  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The only thing i got on my computer is one of the saw nose sharks we caught this year, weve been getting a lot of red fish as well :P been slow lately though.

Believe it or not the waters like a foot deep.

you've been catching sawfish? I thought they were extremely rare, endangered, and illegal to fish for.... Maybe I, thinking of a different fish but I, pretty sure sawfish have a pretty unique body part that isn't easily confused.

Assuming you're catching them legally (lol :D) nice fish!

Maybe you're thinking about paddle fish?
I know in PA it's highly illegal to catch them. Even if you're nit fishing for them and happen to hook one, I wouldn't even take a picture of it.

No, I know paddlefish are illegal as well. Maybe they're illegal in another country, think I saw a river monsters episode where he was catching sawfish in Australlia so maybe they're just illegal there.

Paddle fish and saw nose sharks are endangered and illegal to catch, we set all the saw noses we caught free, but we caught about 13 this year, and a LOT of red fish, we keep the red fish only allowed one per person though. But if you go home and go back out you can get another lol

Picked up a shimano tld 20 today.

Paddlefish are not illegal to harvest in the US. It varies by state. In KY you can keep 8 a day!

Sawfish are federally protected however.

What state are you catching them in? Thats cool! For the record nothing is illegal to catch, somethings are just illegal to harvest.

Was out until dark yesterday so I didn't feel like posting what I caught when I got home. Caught 15-20 large bluegills, a few green sunfish, a pumpkinseed, a decent creek chub, 2 yellow bullheads, and 2 largemouth that were 14 and 12 inches! Fishing was great, water was clear which means the aquatic scenery was amazing, it was nice and sunny and warm, and overall it was a great fishing day!!!!!

Well it's been put off long enough. Finally getting up to Presque Isle to do some weekend fishing on my 21' boat! Last weekend was raining, next weekend is raining, and this weekend there's still rain but whatever, it's only in the morning for a few hours.

Hopefully we can catch prespawn or spawn for smallies and maybe some yellow perch, white bass, sheaphead, walleye, and the other assortment of Erie's sport fish as well! Even the bluegill I catch up there are bigger than most local ones!
