I was talking about the picture I posted not wetspots. wetspots does have a humeral blotch which has only gotten bigger on my guys. Here's a reference pic of a baby cincta: View attachment 1010915 The humeral blotch is fading. The reason I posted that picture was because Peanut Power said the spots are in the tail which usually means Cincta, but that sax sp. I posted does indeed have spots in it's tail. I'll try and get some pics of my group of 5. Another thing I've noticed is that they're very teritorial with each other at only 1-2 inches, and baby lugubris are supposed to school in the wild, but in the aquarium everything can be different behavior wise, that was just an interesting observation I made I thought was interesting. maybe they will turn out to be Cincta lol but only time will tell.
I was talking about the tail spangles. Not the humeral blotch behind the pectoral.
The spots are different in comparison. Cincta has less striations, more spots/smudges. Saxatilis group have more lines and striations.
There is more than one reason I didn't buy a group though. They could still very well be cincta, don't burst any bubbles just yet, but the numbers aren't adding up. LoL
