*drool* all those black rays. so hard to come by where i am, and expensive.

Yeah most of the time I try to find something other than black rays. Generally those black rays are always available however they cost a lot (as always) but not nearly as much as the US, I think… I usually looks for Pearls, Flowers, Marble Motoros, etc as in my opinion they are much more exotic.

Every single stingray shop is like half black diamonds, a quarter leopoldi/black ray variants, and the last quarter are the other stingray species. But that's just what they have there, if you go to the farms I bet you could find anything and everything you are looking for.

i've been looking around here for a while to see if there were any vendors or breeders with black rays available: leopoldi, henlei, hybrids, etc. no luck.
i'd personally love to get some henlei. almost wondering if it'd be worth the trip over there, pick them up, and bring them back as ornamental fish for personal use.

There should be a lot here but don't quote me on that.

I was able to purchase a pair of Pearl Stingrays for $400, starting price.

I bought my Pearl male for $133

you can even buy an eagle there or maybe a piraiba?

I've seen hawks and owls before, I am unaware of what a juvinile bald eagle looks like as that's the most commonly seen one from where I'm from. Most of the birds aren't huge (yet) so I can't identify them.

I saw a peacock the other day

Cnel, what do you think the best deals are over there? I mean what monster fish are really cheap there that are very expensive in the US?

The problem is I'm from Alaska so whenever fish are sold there is a fairly good amount of shipping mark up included with the fish, therefore I am unaware of prices.

However I'll include examples of fish which I think are monsters which are cheap here: (cheaper than US prices)

alligator gar juvenile - $2.50

Red Tail Catfish Juvenile - $1.30

AAA Black diamond pup - $850 (May be cheaper or more expensive not to sure)

Arapaima - $30

GATF - $25 (juvenile) Adult - $30-45

VATF - $20 (juvenile) Adult - $30 (?)

Nile Perch - $30

Paddlefish - $50

Platinum paddlefish - $1600

Datnoid - $20 (around there)

Golden Cobra snakeheads - $30 (I think that's the maximum actually, for a 10")

Piranhas (red bellies) - $1 (3-4" specimen)

These are just a few fish, if you have any thing specific just ask. I still have my list for everyone however I haven't gone to the market to allow restocking of their fish, and I haven't had a reason to go.

Interesting how just about all of the fish are so cheap there except the black diamonds...They seem to be commonly bred there and as easy to come by as anything but they hold their value unlike nothing else.
