Ehh what were you doing in the projects in the middle of the night?
Some good skate spots up there haha awesome part is the local skaters usually take off all of the skatestoppers on ledges and rails so it was easier to find a good spot, I used to skate all night back in the day (like 16-18) everywhere. We would take a bus up to the city center and just explore looking for good spots. My buddy also lived closer to the city then me, he didn't live in the projects but cutting through them was also the fastest way back to his house so we found ourselves there a lot. I got the nickname paddlefoot by the skaters around there because I have insanely flat feet haha. Long as your friendly your good in most cases, by 18 we knew pretty much all the guys who'd be outside on the route home. Some close calls with random crack heads, a skateboard is a pretty good self defense tool though, truck slaps are brutal (the trucks being the metal part on bottom).
Back on topic, krich got me all nostalgic for a minute, the dog could have been bloated and appeared fat, I just watched the video I didn't research into details. That's totally on the owner, its sad but dogs die constantly due to bad ownership. Although some dogs are truly just messed up from inbreeding and such. Perfect example although not horrible, my friend moved back from north Carolina not too long ago and about a year before she left NC she was gifted a "hog dog" puppy. This thing is gorgeous, it has bull terrier, pit bull, and Australian shepherd as its lineage. She BABIES the thing still, and everyone tells her she needs to harden up and properly deal with him. He gets aggressive if he gets cornered and will just growl and tense up, you can't take his food without getting snapped at, is not good with stranger guys or other large dogs.. Or with too large or brightly colored cars going by.. I'm trying to help her and so is her father but he was raised like that and she never corrected it. He is great with kids though, even random strangers kids. So hoping for the help to kick in
Pops, if I had my kid outside who is that young that close to the street I wouldn't let him out of my sight let alone give an ample amount of time for a dog to saunter on up and take a nibble. I would have sprinted to get in the way and punted that thing. Growing up I was always told never let your children or the children your babysitting play in the front yard without your eyes on them. My ex was almost kidnapped like that bit her dad was watching from a window and came out with a bat
