Also while u guys are here ... Should I go 6x18" or 4x2? Witch would be better to last them for about 2 years?

Go 4x2. More width for the bichirs. They'll not freaking out. Dont do 18" width. 8x3 are good! Same dims as my friend's tank . His bichirs are happy. Hehe
