Great looking bunch!!

Glad to hear they're doing better. You'll have to be patient. I remember I would freak my fish out every day when I turned the lights on or off. They didn't like me directly in front of the tank, so for a while I snuck up the sides to turn lights out, they outgrew this. I also played close attention to how I approached and left the tank, who was around the tank and how they viewed the fish, kids can be hard on fish till they learn. I really think this stuff molds personality in a lot of fish. Maybe next feeding, don't leave. Sit quietly in a corner across.
As for my water changes, I fill a bucket with tap, treat it, and dump it in. My Tiger Barbs would not leave me alone the whole time. Matter of fact, the first time I lost one, it was sucked out during a WC. I literally have to wave the hose back n forth so they don't get sucked up or they pick the hair off my arm! Then they seemed to love playing in the flow of new water. All of the sudden they started ballooning up and dying. I'm pretty sure it's GBD as I have seen bubbles form.
