you got a bunch of pretty fish there. what size are they,, and can they be kept in regular tap water?

I've had them around 3 months, the 3 by themselves are the ones I got in the mail. They're still a little shy so I left them alone. Yep 100% tap water, I think they're mostly 3.5-4". From what I've read they are on track.

what is the ph of your tap water? mine's about 7.7 to 7.8
and what are you feeding them?
 
7.3 last I looked. I mix a few flakes, beefheart, and frozen bloodworms. I usually feed 3 times a day, rotating the foods. I'm trying to do more frequent water changes, (upped to every day)but I don't always get to it :/
 
I need to go ahead and get a TX drivers license and then get a fishing license. The bug is biting hard and I'm surrounded by water!
 
I tried doing it yesterday. I took a picture of the grille of my Camaro and was going to use that. Check you out having fun with your new dog!
