the effects of high ammonia are devastating to a fish, its burns there gill, burns there skin, eyes. just open a bottle of ammonia and sniff it, not good stuff.

what is a "high ammonia" rating in ppms?

anything over 0.25 ppm.

once tank is cycled and proper filtration, 0.0. as the filters are processing it as it happens.

Sherbert is dead Just found him nose down in his tank with a bunch of stone down his throat I tried feeding him twice a day, 4 different kinds of food.... Dont understand
