Monster fish from Beltway Aquarium, alternative to Shark Aquarium

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I went to congressional about a month ago and they had a 6-7 inch tigrinis cat that was very thick and healthy for $150
I saw that guy too. Congressional normally has good quality fish for outrageous prices, but every now and again you score an amazing deal. The staff there is very knowledgable and frendly. The previous manager was the one that got me into big fish and the store itself got me into the hobby. I can honestly say I wouldnt have fish or really any pets if it wasnt for that store.
Im a huge fan of beltway but the rays there are pretty sketchy. I wouldnt recomend buying rays or other sensitive fish from there. The prices at beltway are hard to beat except every now and again the price is outrageous. Its like the opposite of congressional price wise.
Congressional and beltway are easily the 2 best fish store in the MD are IMO with House of tropicals being a very close 3rd

Vienna aquariums and pets and Marine scene a saltwater store i buy live feeds and a few other things from. I go to H.O.T, EDENS,GENISIS PETS,TROPICAL LAGOON,CONGRESSINAL AQUARIUM,VIENNA AQUARIUM,MARINE SCENE AND BELTWAY, as well as PETCO and PETSMART all these stores have something good at any given time you just have to be the guy who gets there first LOL. There are also a few i have only been to once of twice like CENTERVILLE AQUARIUM and another one on route 4 near prince fredrick that i cant remember the name of. Plus there are a few ive been told about that i havent made it to, all in all we have a lot more stores than most seem to have.
Thanks for the info, I'll definitely have to check these places out

I think I might have been to Beltway years ago and I'll have to check out Congressional and HoT one of these days.

Are the stores in MD far from Delaware ?

Depends were you are in Delaware but H.O.T is probably the closest, its near Bowie. Congressional and Beltway would take a while

Tropical lagoon and Rick's are also worth checking out.

Tropical lagoon has an amazing saltwater collection and some really nice cichlids.
Ricks is pretty much slightly cheaper, but much darker congressional.

Would be from sussex county near lewes. Im used to driving a good distance as there are no decent stores in staten island i usually drive out to NJ

I'm not sure about shipping and it's best to call or email them to ask what they have in stock. The website isn't really reliable as you just found out lol.

You should probably make a thread of your own about that fish rather than posting about it on a totally unrelated thread.
