My wife thinks any 6 foot tank is too bigI imagine it's probably harder to tolerate, when it's a massive tank; i.e. anything above 55 gallons is insane to the general public, that aren't used to it lol.
I think a 90 gallon is small relatively, but some people can't comprehend it; in which case tanks in the regions of 125+ are above and beyond to them haha
I know plenty of people that thinks 29gal are big tanks lolMy wife thinks any 6 foot tank is too big
Mine is pretty good about everything. I can talk fish all day and she will nod and smile and give her opinions but she doesn't have much interest in the hobby besides. She thinks all of my american cichlids are grey haha. I guess they aren't very colorful compared to Africans and salt water but I still love them. She does limit the amount of my tanks i keep setup but i guess its for my own good. She always catches me looking for used equipment deals and then tells me I'm obsessed. But it's ok. I know I am.
There are always GREAT deals on Craigslist around here!! I can't believe what I find sometimes!Mine is pretty good about everything. I don't know......there are a lot of women out there, with shoes and purse collection, that rivals the costs of very large aquaria set ups. Its not always the men that are the money "splurgers"
Oh I didn't mean that- (and shopping addiction might be a different kind of insecurity!) but maybe that's just my experience. My husband and I splurge in opposite ways- for me it's fish- he has the bigger shoe and clothing collection lol!
