Silver x Blue arowana

I talked to one farm that actually crossed them. He showed me parent pics from the pond and the fry. He took known breeding male silvers and known breeding female blacks, or flipped I don't recall it was a couple years ago. Only had males of one and females of the other and got fry. He told me everyone said it couldn't be done and wouldn't buy them for what they were. So he called them something different. I don't recall the name he changed it to. He has asked me to keep him anonymous.

Sounds like a great "story", to me. Pretty hard to believe without seeing any evidence.

Even with pictures you wouldn't believe it. Only if I have a DNA test in hand would anyone say it is possible. If I can find the pictures he showed me I'll post them. Albino arowana were an improbable thing now they are everywhere. I can find albinos more then i can find blacks right now. Most things that seem impossible can be possible if given a try.

Here is a picture of the fish in question. Looks like a regular silver anyone have any input.
