Been thinking about it and the swordtails would try get bits of food that he blows out of his gills. The male zont is fairly chilled till feeding then gets really aggressive, he even flairs up at me if I eat in front of the tank and he is not.. Them being low quality does make sense decent swordtails are hard to find

No, no. The swordtails(aka: sadistic alien bastards) are the ones performing all the anal probing testings

Water is all good tested it last night and did a quick waterchange while searching for any remains,
