nothing good in old tank water, its just old tank water, with its nitrate.

and to do a 100% water change does not mean draining to the gravel, fin level, fill then do another right after, this would actually be a 99% or so water change. close enof to call 100%

still waiting for the shipment to come in w/ the medication.....Jag cleared up w/ salt, Green Texas is getting more, same spot along each side of where the front few dorsal spines meet the back-meat, they're turning more pale-whitish though

Paraguard.....she said they supplier was out of Polyguard so I went w/ Paraguard, then Wailua Boy said it wouldn't cover everything

so I was told they are "Leucocysts" and the equivalent of a human cold-sore......basically it' a virus that all fish have (similar to ich, but not a parasite) and it has a outbreak when water quality or stress levels become unfavorable, however he stated it was a virus, so there's nothing TO do about it


Anyone know anything about these so-called "Leucocysts"?
