The fish & vent look female to me. Males always tend to strut their stuff by showing their Weiner even when their small & I can't see a Weiner. Gotta luv the cocky little buggers.

did it have a hump?
did it have a hump?
Never had a hump, but cleared a spot in the substrat, was wodering I have two clown loachs in the tank, is it possible they ate the eggs if any? Not sure if they are nocturnal?

I think clown loaches sleep at night, infact if I didn't know better I'm sure they suffer from narcolepsy. In saying that I'm sure caviar would be irresistible to them & they would enjoy another little lie down after devouring it.

Pretty sure o> is male. I'm not an expert on venting these fish so im still not going to take a guess. However, I think it looks more like o> than oO.

And to anyone saying there is some kind of physical differences other than venting or seeing the tube... Stop lying lol. Any physical differences that may have existed are a thing of the past. Midevils are so unpredictable in terms of physical appearance that sexual dimorphism doesn't exist.

I'm no expert either but looking at venting images "again" it appears it is male. Surely though if it was male it would be hard to miss by now, i mean at first glance there is no real hump but surely there would be junk.
