I kind of agree with you but when I took all my fish off of hakari I noticed a lot less sh** in the tank. I didn't notice a difference in color but they were definitely producing less waste.

From what I have heard hikari has a lot of fillers. That's what causes that.

I feed mine northfin and xtreme monster. Both are of the same quality as nls without the mess.

Yeah the Dovii has ate it for around 2-3 years now, I feed it to my GT pair as well there big as well but not as big as the Dovii obviously.

Yeah around 3 years maybe a little more I got him in April 2013 he was very small then, only around 1.5"-2.5", he always been in very large tanks with crazy filteration as well so that helps as well.

He's in a 96x30x30 at the moment around 375g or 1500 litres, but I'm thinking of getting a bigger one, he doesn't need it to be honest but I want a pair and he keeps trying to kill females in the current tank, so go bigger is the only way I can see it working as I've tryied every thing else
