Moving, need a pop for a 90g

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yea....can be kept in a small group,2-3, in the 90 gallon. No other tankmates though. Very cool sight to see feed and an awesome oddball catfish!
+1

I wish i had oddballs apart from knives and
P. Bulchozi here. Or i just dont know any oddballs lol.

I think a 2m x 60cm is needed, volume is not as important (just more or less WC)

As for those blue whale catfish, they look interesting, i kinda want one. Would definitely be a number 1 choice for me
Yep, my 700 is 200x70x50. They thrived, but I just couldn't stand them after a while (which is odd, they're known for their wetpet behavior).

Mhm, think they take second place in my list!
I've read that they are pricey, but to be fair, 20€ a pop is kinda okay (Wholesaler prices, but still).

I love Pantodons! It's one fish I've always wanted to have again, that I couldn't because every of my tank has something that would tear them apart... They are so amazing, and funny to watch catch crickets :D

Thats not bad. 3" Channa Bleheri are 400 rands, somewhere like 30 euros

If i see one i am buying it. The last one an LFS had was so beaten up it was scary, thats how i got another african knife

I pay much cheaper for bleheris, for comparison (there are no bleheris on the list), Andrao are priced at 6€, so I'm paying 12 which is 20ish euros cheaper than LFS prices.

I would assume those whales would be around 50€ in a LFS.

Bleheri are the only i can get and i cant afford a group and i dont want them killing each other if i do. It sucks

I feel you, snakeheads are my favorite fishes, I've had at least one of most of them. I had 6 bleheris in 100L and they never harmed one another, until the very day a pair formed. Unlike my Aurantis, they didn't kill eachother, but they sure guarded their half of the tank from the other 4, chasing them around.

But since it was heavily (and I mean HEAVILY) planted, there was rarely a line of sight.

I just ordered a 15-16cm Mala... He'll stay in the 180 until I have to move, it'll give me time to get to know the fish, and whether it'll do when I actually move. :)

If I end up not being fond of it, which I doubt, it'll always be time to resell and go for the blue sharks, or the exodons. ;)

Turns out all I really like, nowadays are species that can only go in speciies tanks. :O

Once again, Red Aimara Red Aimara I blame you. ;)

I would have got an ery if they were legal :(
