Why Is It So Dead In Here?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
E ettfettbranamn if 5 people don't like you, the problem isn't them, lol

i bet you the 4 of them are partying it up

Wow.. that feeling when you realize you just wasted words.. should have just given you a like instead.. ;)

Nice to see you guys posting ballinouttacntrol ballinouttacntrol SumoNinja SumoNinja . And E ettfettbranamn no worries you still got at least one couch state side.

As for why it's dead in here? I think there are a lot of reasons. One being that many of the posts and threads have become as vapid as the posts on FB. I can only guess either the posters don't realize how much they have to offer, don't have confidence in their knowledge and are hesitant to share considering how quick some of the members are to jump on someone else's error.

It's a real shame because they're are some amazing fish that have been making their way through the hobby that haven't been seen in years. African Tiger Scats and Golden Siniperca Scherzeri to name two. A fairly newly discovered wild local/variant? for Jack Dempsey Cichlids. There's so much great info and experiences that could be shared.

I just absorb knowledge and regurgitate it for others. I do not really do anything special for the hobby (apart from keep fish) and i enjoy speaking to other fish nerds. If i keep my african knives together till adulthood then i have something to add :)

Time is the most underrated factor in this hobby.. do something for long enough and you are bound to become good..

Regurgitation is an important thing, some call it passing on knowledge..

I have only had fish for over a year and tropicals 4 months but i researched a hella lot and try and help

I think constructive criticism is much more helpful, in a way like saying keeping a jaguar cichlid in a 75 is a bit tight, maybe try and get a bigger tank for it. That helps people
I agree, but there's a slight difference between "heads up mate, your fish will out grow your tank in x amount of time" and "GET A BIGGER TANK RIGHT NOW OR GET LOST!" The first is helpful, the other may cause people to get offended and not come back, which only takes away from the knowledge we have here. If that makes sense?

Sorry I think I did that.
So much for not naming names. Haha :P

....on a Ranger in the forest and there's no one around to hear him, does HE make a sound?????
Omg I laughed so hard at this... Probably harder than I should of... :D
