are our fish edible ?

Several years ago, I believe it was posted on WW back when it was popular, there was a member who was trying to give away some pacus that had gotten huge. As it tends to be with pacus he wasn't able to find a home for them so he ended up cooking them instead.

I don't recall the outcome well, but I think he was pleasantly surprised by it.

I ate all fishes I caught in the WILD but I have no heart to eat my own fish that I keep/growth them out for years, I just bury them if they died for whatever reason. :P Next time I would dried them and keep their skeleton.

Back in the day I believe mid to late 2007ish there was a member on here that made a thread how he cooked and ate his red devil
 
Giant gourami, Pangasius, tinfoil barbs, featherbacks, snakeheads etc all commonly farmed fish in the east, as with most farming operations there are probably lots of growth enhancers, prophylactic medicines, and hormones used to grow these, not unlike to what happens with a lot of hoofed animals grown for food
 
I have a hard time believing pellet fed red devils would taste delicious but anything is possible.
