New addition to the 210

I went to my lfs yesterday, just hoping to get a couple more Firemouths, but when I got there this Blood Parrot was calling my name, so I had to take her. She was $50 at 6", which I think is a good price considering my other two lfs asked $30 to order in a 3" BP. I was surprised to see her at this store since they aren't very common here. She was only the second one I've seen in GA.

She had great color when she was in the bag, and I can't wait to see how she looks in a week after getting settled into the tank. She's also showing more personality than any of my other fish, and I've only had her for a little more than 24 hours.

Good looking fish. A lot l see at lfs for whatever reason don't typically look very good. Beat up fins and body. This one looks nice.

Hong kong parrots are about 6-7 USD for a 4" fish. Keep us updated

What should I feed her? She's being rather picky about what she wants. She won't take pellets, and she requires her flakes to be a certain size before eating them.

Ahh yep. It just looked a little odd is all and I wasn't sure what it was/if you'd noticed it.

I've always thought these were really aggressive. I guess they aren't?
