MarcN. What are the dimensions on this tank? Did I see correctly you are going 1"? Is this just regular plate glass? If so you may not like the effect the thick glass can create. You may see a noticeable green tinge to everything. This is where a low iron glass would do better, at least for your front panel.
The tank will be 75"x20"x20" as we had agreed. I did let him decide on which glass to use for front and back and he told something about a low metal glass (which I assume was iron as you have mentioned). Also asked him if could diamond drill the back for overflow so that I can add a 20g sump. Excited as I am but it'll be another 30-40 days before I get the tank back as the worker is juggling with work and some commitments which I totally understand and also considering the amount of silicone will be used to piece the tank together would give time for a more solid cure
While the tank is being assembled Imma have to modify the old 3ft stand that the broken 50g used to sit on so the new tank would fit when it arrives.
