i think they max out at around 12" give or take in a home aquarium and it's
a mini but monster in attitude, predatory, and a cichlid. fits all the bill if you
ask me lol
i think scientific name is cichlasoma grammodes or was itchiapaheros grammodes dont remember but either one lol..
Incredibly cool, i love guapotes but i dont like the idea of keeping any fish over 9" in a 48" tank, especially big chunky cichlids
