other people will say it's too small, but I'd go with a pair or harem of Jack Dempseys, or a pair of Green Terrors. Only the largest of the largest males will hit the 10-11" mark, most commonly 7-9".....and i know this from keeping them for years and years on and off. Even females of the smaller Amphilophus genus would be ok in that size tank. COULD be bigger, but it doesn't have to be. Males are a different story.....Yesss. i might start with Kribs in my 15 gallon when i get it fixed. still thinking about the 70
