55 gallon predator tank.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
They are predatory, they are fairly docile though. They get 6-7" most of the time and 2 could probably cohabit.

African butterfly fish could also go in, but they don't move much

There are very few truly predatory fish for tanks smaller than 125 gallons.
Dang, because there is no way I could get a tank that big. I guess I'll have to settle for something smaller then :(

I guess honestly I'm looking for a show fish
Show fish, in what sense? A pair of Discus are good, as well as some other cichlids like a single rotkeil Severum

a single GT or Grammodes would work, but I still reccomend upgrading eventually......GT grow very slow so this would be a better, safer choice since size is an issue
^^^^

I wouldn't keep large cichlids like that in a 55, but it can work

So let's just say that I get rid of my 55 and get a 75. Would all of those species that I listed be okay? Are there any others that might be okay off the top of your head? Idk I might just get the 75 Bc the 55 doesn't seem like it could hold much

no, I think the GT is the best choice.....even Grammodes tend to grow fast from what I understand - all CA-Cichlids do
