any car guys on here

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have a 91' mustang gt, I blew up the stock 302 years ago and finally ended up putting in a 347 stroker motor from Summit Racing. I have her dialed in pretty well, I haven't dyno tested it or anything yet but according to their charts it's supposed to be around 525-550hp. Giant Ford aluminum racing heads, 10:1 pistons, giant intake, ect, ect...lots of other goodies. ( I can post full parts list if interested...what I can remember anyway. lol) With a Muncie 4 speed and a 4:10 posi rear end.

The motor sat on the stand for almost 3 years getting pieced together VERY slowly. lol (sorry for the poor photography)

Then another year in the car before I could afford to finish it.

I finally finished it this spring and currently have around 500 miles on the motor...not even broke in yet and it already scares the s**t out of me. hahaha

.

Sweet!!! I've never seen a Muncie behind a Ford!! I'm cool with the mix though, heck my Vega has a 9" ;)

10.5 outlaw is a class I love to watch. Never seen much of the street outlaw but I am assuming it basically the same class

For a while, I was hoping to set my Vega to run a drag radial class, but yea I love the 10.5 class too, not really into big tire classes.

Oops, yeah sorry! Wrong car...the Muncie is in my p.o.s. El Camino that doesn't run anymore. lol The stang has an old Warner T10 I had to have rebuilt.

What's with all the hate on a good reliable swede
I don't understand the hype around them. I bought a used xc90 and it was a nightmare, I'd venture to say it was probably the most unreliable car I've had. It had a Leaking turbo, starting wires wouldn't work if it wasn't 20-75 degrees outside, the exhaust pipe bracket was welded, and subsequently broke after it couldn't handle gravel roads, the transmission would lock up if left more than 2-3 days outside without being turned on, I can go on and on about it.

I had a '71 C-10 that I restored when I was in my early 20's. Eventually sold it to buy a new snowmobile. If I feel like going for a cruise now, I'll go grab my father's car. 68' Chevelle with #'s matching 327 and powerglide 2 speed.tmp_20075-0716161240-1-611181572.jpg

It's kinda like a volkswagen. When the run good there are amazing cars. When they start to have issues you need to just burn it
