Biggest glass banger + wetpet + pred

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Does glass banger count if it's the kids trying to hit the tank to scare the fish? Still working on them to get out of that habit (thankfully it's the small tank) but there's a few scratches that just won't go away.

Thankfully they are more mesmerized by the stingray tank so they just watch that one rather than trying to get the fish's attention
Hmmm, that's I hard one lol I guess it does count

Thats a good one lol.. ofcourse that's outside glass banging.

Ok, I think I'm gonna go with a jag. I think a festae pair would be cool but not really so much of a wetpet and as Rsc89 Rsc89 stated they're not neccasarily glass bangers either. So yeah :) thanks!

Just be prepared for a shy fish for its juvenile and sometimes adolescent stages. While jags can have great personalities. The majority of the ones I've seen/kept are super shy early on.b all mine have been hiders until they hit around 6-7 inches or so. That's just my 2¢

So I vote Umbee! Talk about personality, mine flares at me at 2 inches.

But good luck with your choice! All three of those fish are awesome. In the long run you can't go wrong with any of them. I've seen stunners of all three.

Thanks, yeah I've kept a couple of jags and I know about the shy period! Red Devils/Midas seem to flare up at 2inch as well haha, and yes I would love to keep an umbee but I sadly don't have the tank space :/ ...yet ;)

Yeah I've owned a few jags (both m and f) over the years. As adults, each one of them would always follow anything that moves by the tank, and continually tris to lunge out and bite it. Whether it be a dog, a balloon, or a person.

Amph has best personality of fish listed however I would not describe them as predatory in the way a jag is predatory

100% Midas. A jag is a predator. Yes it can be a glass banger, but if your looking for a personable fish to try to kill you, go Midas. And yes Festae are more along the lines of "don't keep anything with them or they'll kill it" lol. My Festae are just ridiculous with other fish. However only "glass bangers" with a spawn.
