What is your cleaning/water change routine and how long does it take you?

260G, Alternate Bi-weekly:

* Sump filter change, WC Only~70%: Drain with closed loop connection/pump and refill with python: 1.25hrs

* Vacuum, wipe down, sump filter change & WC ~70%: Vacuum with python, drain additional if needed and refill with python: 3hrs

Aside from the time when I do vacuum the substrate, most of the time is consumed from pumping out water and refilling.

Wow some of you are on a whole different level than me haha I jus got one 300 gallon tank I do a 60-70% waterchange once a week..siphon the sand a little bit each time, takes me 30 min.. change my filter sock once every 3 weeks

I wish I could have the drip system like some of you but I got to wait until I get a new house and when that happens I'm getting a 1000+ gallon tank haha =)

Syphon once a week take out like 75% water
Moving on to a 135g with sump system I'm sure I'll still do weekly wc

I guess around 7hrs a week, I get distracted easily and end up doing other things while in the process. I use an aqueon 25' for inside and a python 50' for the fish room in the garage. 80% weekly and sometimes biweekly on heavy bioload tanks if I have time. Filters and glass when needed usually every other wc, canisters once every 1 to 2 months. I usually do 4 or 5 tanks at any given time. 125,100,75x5,55x3,40,36,29, and 20.

I do it cuz it makes me feel "Zen"......I can almost meditate while doing it, and then the finished product after i'm done always is so peaceful and tranquil to watch w/ clear fresh water

Im a water change nut on a 40 gallon. 30 percents every other day.

150 gallon which takes roughly an hour for a 40-50 percent once a week.

Soon to be another 120 gallon. Help me Jesus. Petsmarts got a good price on a 5 footer.. ehh what the hell.

Gonna start doing full algae clean ups. My big tank gets brown algae real bad. Another 20 min. Yes its like a job. Haha
