I can do that, but not real money,Only if you decide to drop a couple of green hundred bills in the tank during a waterchange.

toyin also took care of me with a $50 credit to future order when he sent me a crooked head koliba. I did have to send pics to prove it to him though
I think you have a name for the new lap... Crinkle
So the lap you ordered is considered just a Faranah lap? No Guinea in the name like mine was called? Cause yours has a very distinct organized pattern while mine is just more swirly and disorganized.
Same fish just smaller. I think if one were labelled guinea lap then we could possibly gave something different. Faranah lap & faranah guinea lap are both laps caught in faranah so same location.

I love mine but when I ordered was expecting the crinkle fry markings.
I see Faranah and Guinea laps are more on the way they look. Rather than the collection point. Both are from the West African Country, Guinea for those whom aren't familiar.
Faranah signatures has always been pretty consistent (crinkle fries marking usually) and Guinea is more disorganized such as mine and yours DMD123. Here are some examples. Top 2 Faranah/ bottom 2 Guinea. Keep in mind, the markings are the 'usual' signatures. It may vary![]()
Is it just the lighting or are the Guinea ones also more green typically? I just love the green.
Oh no argument at all. When I purchased my Faranah lap I was expecting a different looking fish than what I received. When it was posted with the pics it then got the tag 'Faranah Guinea' by Toyin so that is how I have been referring to it. I just had not seen the coloration and pattern mine has on other polys I had seen called Faranah laps. No argument about anything just weird how my lap looks so different.
faranah and faranah guinea are the same exact thing. Faranah is in guinea.I see Faranah and Guinea laps are more on the way they look. Rather than the collection point. Both are from the West African Country, Guinea for those whom aren't familiar.
