Found the missing Del after 30 minutes or more of searching. I started searching the floor in my office after not finding him for a long time thinking that he hopped out while I was at the store looking for tape. He was under one of the small rocks.

It really did considering what happened to the 1st batch of the fish Jeff Rapps sent me. After watching these guys all day I'm really glad you guys told me to tape my lids because they would have hopped out through the plastic inserts on the glass lids. They've been hopping all day.

Its a crappy feeling when they jump and something as stupid as a peice of tape could stopped it.

Here are a few pics I took on my DSLR. I'll bring my really nice DSLR to the office one day. The lens I have on this one is terrible. I need to clean my glass too. Also, the lighting in the tank is really dim for now.

Yeah, they must have been hiding out somewhere. I have 4 polys swimming around and I still can't find 1 of the Dels. I've seen him since I sealed the tank with Gorilla tape so he must be under a rock? I haven't seen him in a while.

A low light lens is a must. My aperture only goes down to 4.5 on this camera where as my other lens on my 5d m3 goes to 1.8 which is awesome.

I'll keep the pictures coming! Glad you guys are enjoying them.

How fast do these guys grow per month?

Ok gimme the gist on dslr and a low light lens. Ive been thinking of getting one but know nothing about cameras. Hows this one

Nikons are really nice and can never go wrong with them.

I have a Nikon. I know nothing about the newer models though, sorry. The best lens for low light is a prime lens, but there are some decent zoom lenses out there that go lower. I need a prime that is like 1.8 or 1.4 but I have other things on my money priority list right now.

One piece of advice would be to get a middle of the road vs. higher end camera body and take the money saved and put it toward the nicer lens. Unless you're going to go pro, you don't need the top of the line camera body for everyday (really beautiful) shots.
