Cool. Gonna look it up! Thanks for sharing. I'll probably do that as my light source. Do you have any other lighting in your tank?

How did you mount in your aquarium? Do you use a piece of plexiglass or acrylic to keep light from the tank? Is it possible to mount without a canopy?

Forgot to add. It's 2 day free shipping if polys asking for a disco party !
YESSSSS! They need a disco ball and some roller skates. Get the poly party started!

Can mount it however u want. Can get pretty creative with this application. The strips are flexible housed in a lengthy silicone strip. The only difficulty is when your at the end of tank, and loop to the opposite direction. I haven't mounted them to anything yet. Just slate rock to hold down n each ends. I know ghetto, but temporary. Lol.. wasn't sure how I would like them. Always had my own issues with led lighting .

There's some info below. There's plug kits w/ wire available for an additional bucks of each ends are cut. If preferred to complete a 180 degree turn each time.

I'm still toying with substrate. Apparently black really isn't good, but I'm doing a black background so I need something that fits. I'm using standard white grow tubes right now, and may add a blue or red LED strip for night viewing.

I can't make my mind up. Maybe natural yellow is nest

I use black in my 15, it looks pretty good. It is my first choice if I can get it. The LFS hasn't sent me a list, I'll have to check this weekend. I may order if they can now, I don't really mind which species. Just not a sen

Hahha dont be surprised if at some point you end up with a sen. I know they look boring but their antics are quite rewarding. Ive rehome all sorts of UJ but dont think i could ever let my little crazy sen go

I'll see. Mine are likely WC so sens may get too big.

Maybe they will get darker on black sand?

Why is that?

I have no clue on names, only a price - $22.5 for an 8-10cm fish. they also do pre treatment at the supplier so I'm just gonna monitor him in QT. Hopefully I've some of the smaller ones
