4 sens + snails. I got some Maskoheros Argentea, Maskoheros Regani, Vieja Heterospilus and Cryptoheros Panamensus. The regani, hets and crypts are cool but I'm not sure about the argentea. Basically I have a 75 gallon full of fish I pretty much don't want and would much rather have it full of polys.

haha well i say I'm happy with my current stock in the 60 gallon. as long as the cichlids are playing friendly and the water parameters are good, I'm happy. If i could get my hands on a couple decent quality geophagus winemilleri or a couple heritchthys pearsei I would be more happy though.:D

As of right now i only have two 1-2 inch heritchthys cyanoguttatus and Andinoacara pulcher (electric blue) that is about 5 inches. I just really haven't found a south american that catches my eye like they used to probably because all of my LFS around here have nothing interesting or they are extremely unhealthy like the synspilus I had them order in.

The only reason they had the teug when I bought them was because their vendor told them to order them apparently haha. and I waited a month to make sure she was healthy.

I'm leaning more towards having a cichlid/upper jaw community in my big tank but I keep flip flopping. The answer will come to me eventually. Are you planning on putting the texas with the polys?

No, they were part of my original plan. but I've had a change of heart. unless the smaller one stays really docile. (doubt it) but I don't think the polys will mix well with the texas.

As of now I'm just staying vigilant but right now everyone is sticking to themselves. Except the EBA likes to herd the texas cichlids around. very odd to watch. He never really nips them just kind of pushes gives them kinda leads them where he wants them to go. I'll have to record a video of it one day and post it

I only have my 4 sens right now. Just debating/planning in my head my future set up.

If you're going upper jaws I'd suggest teug or two. Mine has a lot of personality and he's just does a lot of weird things that are quirky and fun to watch and not to mention they're not too bad on the eyes as well. or maybe a moke if you can find one. I've heard a lot of people love the ones they have. If you want a teug though I'd get them while they're still in season :D
