Udon, Soba, and the Noodles

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
2"! So little. I got mine bigger than that. She's always been pretty colorful, but she's definitely more striking now.

Tomorrow when I'm on the computer I'll find an old pic for you and figure out when I got her.

I think you'll enjoy yours! Mine eats like a pig (meaty and veggie) and though she likes her cave I see her all the time, which is one of the reasons I got this type.

OK Cohazard Cohazard - I got 2 videos of Soba Mr. Moke and the rest of the crew last night, just for you.

This one highlights Dottie, the gorgeous L075 for a bit, too. She's a bit of a spaz, though. Gets annoyed at the polys who have no body awareness issues. LOL

And a pic of dudebutt

Finally got to watch the videos, thanks again magpie magpie

I'm gonna be honest, i hope you don't mind if I cramp your style a bit, but your tank is exactly how I want my UJ setup to look. :D

Ok, I found it already - got her in Dec of 2015 at 4", so she was less baby-like. I'm not sure I'll be able to answer your question well, sorry. I will measure her tomorrow (lights are out now). I believe they only get to 6-7" or so.

When I first got her.

Video of her recently - and you can see the one I posted earlier today with her in it, too - dorsal fin up. She's way more striking now IMO.

I couldn't help it and turned on the tank lights. Ziti's been hanging out mostly near the heater corner of the tank. (Actually ordered a heater guard to get here Saturday because she was hanging out so close to / behind it and I've worried about the ropes in the past.) Has been exploring some though, and hanging out in some silly poly positions in the plants. The red-orange is washed out as to be expected after a move.

I didn't feed today - it's a fasting day and I thought it'd be good to wait a day anyway. Plus the belly was full so I bet they got fed before I brought her home.

At one point Polli was floating near the top 1/3 of the tank and Ziti laid on top of her. Wish I got a pic of that but they were at the back of the tank. Anyway, I think they'll be friends. ;) I have an accepting group.

Really nice. I'm gonna have to try a butterfly once I get everyone moved over to the 180 I want to add to my filamented barb group so maybe ill leave the 75 up for a bit to grow these and a couple butterflies out. Probably a couple 3or 4 synos too something out going but not to big like multis. I never see my flavs.

Sounds cool. I would definitely get a few of them - I have 3 and they interact and group together and also get scrappy sometimes (but never any damage). They also like some cover up top, like floating plants of some sort. Mine hang out just under those sometimes.

I think they're pretty striking looking, and love watching them eat - those big Beaker mouths. :) They're not very active though except at feeding time, but mine don't hide either so are visible. They just hang out.

Awesome Teug once again. Since, this fish is a long specie in the wild. Captives have the potential to grow large if given the chance. If no genetic deficiencies, I'd expect a 12-14" teug in 14-18 months. By 2.5-3 years can get one to grow 17". :-)
